To assist with localizing the Meme browser to a user's local time, I've converted the base logs to Universal Time Coordinate files. Currently, I have channel view and searches correctly displaying in user's local time. Users of Meme's clog and f00f virtual servers, however, only display in UTC at the moment.

FYI, channel policy in #emacs is "no public logging of this channel unless anonymized."

I don't go to bars with friends where my boss hangs out, because I don't want him to overhear my conversation. I'd prefer my boss to not be able to read transcripts of my conversation on the web, either. Anonymizing (removing all nicks or replacing them with hashes) would solve that problem, should you want to keep logs in order to help people.

Thanks for letting me know about the channel policy.
I've added randomization of the source nickname in the meme output.
If there are other things that I can help with, please send email directly to me so that I'm sure to see the message: kmr@debian.org

Thanks for taking care of this. I posted the feedback here because there was no obvious mechanism for feedback on the meme.b9.com site itself; perhaps you should add a contact link of some kind.
Also, it might be nice to randomize nick mentions in the chat text as well.
Thanks!

Okay, I've added code to ranomize nicks in the chat text as well.
